St Nicks

At St Nicholas we are committed to being a welcoming and inclusive church for all people.

A community of all ages, backgrounds and identities, seeking to follow Jesus together.

When we say you're welcome, we mean it.

Everyone is Welcome at St Nicks

We recognise that the Church as a whole has not always got this right, and that for some people church spaces have felt difficult, excluding or hurtful. At St Nick’s, we always try to do better.

We celebrate the richness and diversity of our community and believe every person is made in the image of God and deeply loved by Him.

You Are Not Alone

We seek to show this in the way we worship, serve, listen and care for one another.

Revd Rachel is always happy to speak with anyone wanting to explore faith, prayer, worship
or life at St Nicholas.

Service Books

We are working hard to produce service books and worship materials for those who are blind or visually impaired.

Hearing Support

We are upgrading our sound systems to better support those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Step-free church

Our church building is relatively step-free and accessible.

Accessible Toilets

At present, our toilet facilities are not yet fully accessible. We are undertaking a major improvement project which will include new accessible toilets.

Inclusion representatives

We have inclusion representatives of all ages within our congregation who help us listen, learn and continue growing.

Proud to be part of The Inclusive Church Network

We are proud to be part of the Inclusive Church network, learning and growing alongside churches across the country to be places where everyone can belong and flourish.
