Two’s Company Befriending Chislehurst is a befriending service aimed at adults who find themselves requiring some extra friendship and support, and this is provided through weekly home visits. We match volunteers with those who are referred to us and all volunteers are carefully selected, trained and vetted.

The recent ceasefire announcement is a glimmer of hope for children in Gaza. But over 2 years of brutal conflict has left their world in ruins. Over 20,000 children have been killed and those who have managed to survive are severely traumatised. More than a million children are suffering from severe psychological distress, many unable to sleep or even speak. It's the worst mental health crisis for children that we have ever seen.  
Bromley Borough Foodbank is a community-led charity empowering local people to get back on their feet and improve their financial independence. We provide a minimum of three days worth of nutritionally balanced food parcels and connect individuals in crisis to a wider support network through our referral system. We are part of a nationwide network of food banks, supported by The Trussell Trust, and work collaboratively with our local and national partners to end the need for food banks in the UK.
The focus of our work is to provide practical and emotional support and advice, individual one-to-one work and group work programmes. We work alongside parents and carers helping them use their strengths and skills to nurture secure and confident children.
