Lent 2023 - Still Standing.

1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March 2023 at 7.30pm

Still Standing based on the Oscar and BAFTA nominated Elton John biopic Rocketman.

In five weekly evening sessions, and three daytime sessi, using clips from the film, Bible passages and discussion-starters to help us relate the movie to the scriptures and the Gospel. 

Themes include: Becoming and Calling, Relationships and how they shape our identities, the meaning of Success and Failure, Struggles, Upset and Forgiveness, 
Death and Resurrection.

This course contains grown-up themes; however, it is rated as a 15 but there is some fruity language!
Although it is no worse than the language used in films such as the Kings Speech!
