All Age Worship (AAW) on the 1st Sunday of the month. AAW is planned and lead by a variety of people. Would you like to be part of the team? The group meets monthly in the evening and is responsible for planning the worship, leading the prayers, reading the Bible / stories and thinking of innovative ideas. Healing and wholeness group. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the 09:30am Eucharist the congreation is invited to ask for prayers for friends and relatives. On the 3rd Sunday there is a Healing Service at 6pm where people have more time to talk after the Laying-on-of-hands. Would you like to be part of the healing team? Reading Lessons and leading prayers. You would be asked to do this about once or twice a year and help is given if needed. Guidelines, books, coaching and websites are all available to assit you in the preparation of the prayers. Contact Kathleen Mustoe 020 8467 4405.
Taking part in the Offertory Procession. This consists of taking the bread, wine, water and book of prayers up to the altar table. Contact Theordora Chamberlain 020 8302 3658.
Church Choir. The Choir sings at 09:30am Parish Eucharist each Sunday, except for the 3rd Sunday when they sing at Choral Matins at 11:15am. On the 1st Sunday of each month Choral Evensong is at 6pm. Choir practice takes place every Friday from 7:30 - 9om. Contact Michael Bell on 020 8295 1811.
Third Sunday Group. Do you like singing and are able to attend the Family Eucharist on the 3rd Sunday of each month? The group leads the congregation in hymns and songs during the communion. We have a short, very informal, rehearsal the day before at 9:00am. Contact Nicola Smith on 020 8467 7796 or Giles Cordwell 020 88515740.
Bell Ringing. Learning to ring takes 6-12 months of weekly 1 hour sessions. One to one tuition is provided by experienced ringing tutors. Once the basics of bell handling are mastered there is a weekly practice. Once competent at ringing with others, you would join the Sunday ringing band. There would also be opportunity to ring for weddings for which you would receive a small payment. Contact Peter Skinner on 01322 660716.
Nativity Tableau. This takes places at the Lych Gate at 6pm on Christmas Eve and help is always required to help with erecting and dismantling the staging, scaffolding and lighting. Coffee Rota. Coffee is provided every Sunday after 09:30am service in the Church Hall. The rota is arranged in teams of 4 and each team is on dury 4-5 times a year. Being a helper involves getting to the hall a little before the service to set out cups and leaving after communion to get the coffee ready. Contact Frances Newman-Taylor on 020 8467 8723.

Church cleaning. A rota of people clean the church. Help is always needed. Conact Mary Williams 020 8467 2880.
Church Hall Sunday clear up. Help is needed to clear the hall after Gateway and Sunday Coffee. Contact Anne Scobie 020 8295 2443.
Churchyard maintenance. This group is responsible for the non-professional maintenance of the churchyard and work together on the 1st Saturday monring of each month, or independently at a time convenient to them. Activities include pruning, trimming, weeding and planting grass. Contact Jim Pratt on 020 8467 9383.
Christmas Fair. This takes place in November each year and volunteers are always required to help with planning, publicity, setting up, dismantling and running stalls. Contact Sally Hayhow on 020 8467 3314.
Memorial Garden. A small team of helpers are involved in the general upkeep of the merorial garden - cutting the grass, re-seeding, fertilising, planting out, watering and general tidying. Contact Sue Thorogood on 020 8467 2411
Flowers Arranging. Extra help is needed on the rota for the Lady Chaoel flowers and/or for Church Festivals - Easter, Christmas and Harvest. For more information contact Sue Thorogood on 020 8467 2411
Christian outreach
Whitechapel Mission. A team of four volunteers cook breakfast at the Whitechapel Mission on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every mouth of the year. They meet at the Church Hall at 06:15am and return by 11:30am. You can choose to be on the rota once or twice a year. Contact Alex Burman on 020 8325 5735.
Churches Together in Chislehurst (CTC) Churches together in Chislehurst's two charity shops always need extra helpers. You can help for as many hours as you wish at either shop, either on the till or behind the scenes. Contact Philippa Robinson on 020 8467 1833.
Christian Aid. We normally raise between £2-3000 during Christian Aid week in May. Help is needed with filling envelopes and/or delivering envelopes within the Parish. Contact David White on 01689 820677.
