For enquiries about Baptism please contact The Rev'd Alan Mustoe, (020 8467 4405), email@example.comThe Church of England is organised in parishes and we always encourage couples to seek baptism in the parish where they live. (You can check if St Nicholas is your parish church by going to the Church of England web site www.churchofengland.organd entering your postcode in the box on the right hand side of the home page). If you live outside our parish but still wish to bring your child to St Nicholas to be baptised, we ask that you come along to church at least once a month for six consecutive months so that we can get to know one another before beginning the preparation process. Please introduce yourself when you start attending.
You are welcome to marry in the Church of England whether or not you are christened and whether or not you go to church and we welcome you! Thanks to a new law you have now got more choice about which church to marry in and it may be possible for you to be married in St Nicholas. Please contact The Rev'd Alan Mustoe who will be pleased to talk to you about your wedding: 020 8467 4405 or 07725 909 733, firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information about being married in the Church of England go to: www.yourchurchwedding.org
The church is available for a funeral service. It would usually be followed by a short committal service at either a cemetery or a crematorium. A service in church allows people as much space as they want to express thanksgiving without the pressure of other bereaved families waiting their turn. If you would like to hold a funeral service in church, please speak to the funeral director you employ and they can arrange this with us. St. Nicholas clergy are also available to take the entire service at the crematorium or cemetery if you so wish. Please bear in mind that the full-time clergy have Friday as their day off.
From time to time we run courses that seek to explain the Christian Faith. If you wish to talk to the Rector or Curate about matters of faith, personal concerns or requesting prayer please call them directly or leave your details with the Parish Administrator.
If you wish to talk to someone else in confidence, we have trained listeners who are available to listen to you. Contact the Parish Administrator (020 8467 0196) or at email@example.com and request a listener.
