Enquiries
For all enquiries about church life, including baptisms, weddings and the hire of the church hall, contact Selina Lindsay, our Parish Administrator on 020 8467 0196 or parishchurch@btconnect.com.
The Parish Office is situated on Church Lane, Chislehurst and is open weekdays from 9am – 1pm (9am to 3pm Wednesday and Thursday). It is not open on Friday or during school holidays (messages left about baptisms and weddings will be dealt with once the office opens again).

Baptisms
If you wish to be baptised or to have a child baptised, contact Selina Lindsay, our Parish Administrator on 020 8467 0196 or parishchurch@btconnect.com.
Families will then be invited to an all age worship service in the church hall on a first Sunday of the month where we give thanks to God for a new birth. Preparation for baptism then follows. Baptisms take place on the first and third Sundays of the month at 3pm. The church is very popular for baptisms which mean a service usually takes place several months after the initial enquiry.

Weddings
Please read, Important information about weddings at St Nicholas Church.
If you have a 'qualifying connection' with the church you are entitled to be married at St. Nicholas. Please download here the document which explains how a qualifying connection is established and an application can be made.
Alternatively, contact Selina Lindsay, our Parish Administrator, on 020 8467 0196 or parishchurch@btconnect.com.
The fees for a wedding at St. Nicholas Church can be downloaded here.

Funerals
The church is available for a funeral service. It would usually be followed by a short committal service at either a cemetery or a crematorium. A service in church allows people as much space as they want to express thanksgiving without the pressure of other bereaved families waiting their turn. If you would like to hold a funeral service in church, please speak to the funeral director you employ and they can arrange this with us. St. Nicholas clergy are also available to take the entire service at the crematorium or cemetery if you so wish.
Please bear in mind that the full-time clergy have Friday as their day off.
