ST. NICK'S TODDLERS: Large play equipment, parachute games, bouncy castles and crafts for your pre-schoolers. Toddlers meet in the Church Hall every Thursday in term time (except 2nd Thursday in month) from 1.30pm to 3pm for children aged from 10 months to 4 and half years.  Help is needed with setting up. CHISLEHURST PARENTS' GROUP (CPG): This takes place in the Church Hall every alternative Wednesday from 1.45 to 3pm during term time.   Parents/carers and their children (0-5 years) try out new activities.  Extra help is always needed for special events such as Christingle, the toy stall at St Nicholas Fair etc.  Sessions usually cost £2.50 per child; siblings' half-price, under one year olds go free, child-minder discount for more than one child.  For more information call/text Karen Jenner (07876400784) or wednesdaykids@live.co.uk or

GATEWAY SUNDAY SCHOOL:  Sunday school takes place in the Village/Church Hall throughout the year with breaks at Easter and Christmas during the 09:30 service.  It closes during the school summer holidays when the children are cared for by volunteers.  Teachers and helpers are needed between 09:00 and 10:15am.  Contact Madeline Clarke (020 8467 2206).

 

 

 

 

 

CRECHE: Children from 0-3 years are looked after in the Dalton Room in the Village/Church Hall during Gateway.  This is sometimes the first contact new parents have with the Church so it plays a vital role.  There is a rota of parents involved in helping.  Contact Michelle Fribbens (020 8467 5046) and/or Debi Warde (020 8295 1787).

 

 

 

 

 

CRUSADERS: Crusaders takes place fortnightly on Sundays from 6:00-8:00pm for young people aged 11-16.  Help is always needed with the planning and organisation.  Contact Ruth Cox (01689 880237), John Grant (020 8289 9210), Pippa Jinks (020 8295 1475).

 

 

 

 

 

CHLOE: (Chislehurst Ladies Over Eighteen): Just as it suggests, a group for ladies over eighteen with a varied programme of monthly meetings from book reviews to salsa classes, quizzes and pampering. Contact Alison Ripley on (01689 824080).

 

 

 

 

 

MOTHERS' UNION: A variety of meetings and activities usually on the first Tuesday of the month at different times and venues.  Please see notice boards, Look Out and the Sunday Leaflet for details.

 

 

 

 

 

CHURCH CHOIR: The choir sings at the 09:30am Parish Eucharist each Sunday, except for the 3rd Sunday when they sing at Choral Matins at 11:15am.  On the 1st Sunday of each month Choral Evensong is at 6:00pm.  Choir practice takes place every Friday from 7:30-9:00pm. BELL RINGING: Learning to ring takes 6-12 months of weekly 1 hour sessions.  One to one tuition is provided by experienced ringing tutors.  Once the basics of bell handling are mastered there is a weekly practice.  Once competent at ringing with others, you would join the Sunday ringing band.  There would also be the opportunity to ring for weddings for which you would receive a small payment. WEDNESDAY CIRCLE: Informative talks, often with slides, on an amazing range of subjects. Meets 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at Queen Mary House, Manor Park Road, 10.30am. Contact Shirley Strong on (020 8467 2114).
